With the growing global demand for macadamia nuts, this summit will focus on positioning farmers and agribusinesses for competitiveness and profitability.
Makueni Business Club Workshop – 7th April 2026

This workshop is designed for entrepreneurs, agribusiness owners, and professionals seeking to strengthen their business skills. The session focuses on entrepreneurship, financial management, networking, and market access, providing participants with practical tools to grow and scale sustainable businesses within the agricultural sector and beyond.
Makueni Dairy Summit – 29th May 2026

This summit will focus on advancing dairy farming through improved livestock management, milk quality, processing technologies, and sustainable dairy systems. Participants will gain practical insights on increasing productivity, reducing losses, and strengthening dairy value chains.
Makueni French Beans Workshop – 26th June 2026

Designed as a hands-on training forum, this workshop will support French beans farmers with practical knowledge on production techniques, pest and disease management, quality standards, and export market requirements.
Makueni Livestock Farming Workshop – 31st July 2026
The livestock farming workshop will address modern animal husbandry practices, animal health, feeding systems, breeding, and sustainable livestock production models suitable for both small-scale and commercial farmers.
Makueni Coffee Farming Workshop – 28th August 2026
This workshop will focus on improving coffee quality, productivity, and market access. Farmers and cooperatives will engage on best agronomic practices, post-harvest handling, value addition, and strengthening cooperative systems.
2nd Makueni Avocado Summit – 25th September 2026
Building on the success of the inaugural avocado summit, the second edition will deepen discussions on avocado value chains, export readiness, quality standards, climate-smart practices, and investment opportunities. The summit will continue to position Makueni as a leading avocado-producing region.
